Hear and Obey – Annie Pak – Appendix
I just got married and 3 days in I had to get an emergency appendix surgery and… I’ve never had surgery and I was told I had to be alone during covid in the hospital. But I wasn’t scared! I KNEW God was showing me something new and I was happy to experience this foreign thing that I can now speak with others about. Although I couldn’t walk myself, eat, drink, bathe or stand without help.. God taught me how to rely on my husband, rest, and be grateful. I always tried to find the perfect formula to marriage – but this surgery gave me a glimpse of what “in sickness and health” means… I can’t formulate it, this is part of marriage… just life and seeing God in that. God is so good for giving me joy in the midst of such a worrying time! – Annie
