Welcome to a very simple web site on which I offer an explanation, a reason and a stepping stone to a good read.
I live in the East Midlands of the United Kingdom. Following an accident at work in 2000 I was left disabled with a severely crippled left arm. I am looked after, quite ably, by my wife of 14 years, B. I grew up in what is known today as Zimbabwe. It became Zimbabwe within a few months of my leaving school at the end of 1980. I was quickly able to fulfill a dream I had to be a policeman in Africa. Based at three stations in the Bulawayo Rural South district of the Matabeleland South province, I was the police public prosecutor. At the time that I was in service, Mugabe's Fifth Brigade were unleashed on the Matabele tribe and in just a few years between 20 to 30 thousand people were killed. I left the Zimbabwe Republic Police in 1985. "Without Honour" is an ebook that I wrote in the second half of 2006 after much encourgaement and pleading from a very good friend in South Africa. It chronicles my experiences in the Police and how elements of Mugabe's government conspired to not only hide their misdoings, but also to rid the force of myself - a distinct minority of one white man in a sea of blacks. My book is available for sale as an ebook at Jan Lamprecht's Straight Talk site for just US$12. We hope to have it available for sale as hard copy very shortly. May 2007 I am very happy to announce that my book "Without Honour" is available as a "Print on Demand" item on Lulu. The book is GBP14.99 plus postage and generally delivery is effected within 10 days of the order. Lulu also offers the book as a downloadable pdf for £6. I am very impressed with Lulu and found the whole exercise very easy and there are PAGES of help files if you are unsure |
